This is my old Proton Satria GTI, which I brought in April 2001 and is used as my everyday car. It is a 1.8 fuel injection 16v engine which revs to 7500 RPM before you hit the red line!! The car is based on a Mitsubishi Colt of pre 1995 era, but with a wild bodykit, interior styling and handling by Lotus. And have they ever done a good job, it's like it's on rails.

There are only about 1500 of these in the UK, so when people see it, they wonder WTF it is. If you want a car that gets noticed, get one of these!

Interior:
Recaro seats with rear h/rests, Power steering, ABS, electric windows, Air-con, Remote central locking, electric mirrors, Clifford CAT 1 alarm, aluminium pedals and gear knob, sports dash with white "blue lit" dials, GTI mats

External spec.
Lotus styled bodykit featuring deep front spoiler/bumper housing driving lights, sports arches with "rivets", side skirts, deep meshed rear bumper housing rear fogs and reflectors. Twin exhausts in centre of bumper, huge rear spoiler sitting on top of tailgate with intergrated brake light.
Alloys are 16" 6 spoke with 205/45x16 Pirelli tyres. (now Goodyear F1's)

Colour: Only available in Ducati Silver.

The car has just done 38,000 miles now with no trouble, I have done 22k of that. It is serviced regularly (every 9k) by my local Proton dealer Lindsays in Southbourne.
